That surely is the million dollar question!

Okay our last lesson with my mentor Alex Jeffreys was all about how you go about getting more traffic to your blog, it makes sense that the more visitors visit your blog the better.

Well, theres a bounty of $1000 to the student who generates the most traffic to their blog in the next two weeks. Unfortunately I’ll be away next week for a whole week, but i’m still going to give this a go, since theres no harm in trying, and I think this is one of the most important lessons of the course.

Here is what I plan to do to get more traffic to my blog:

• Start to give away much more free ebooks, video tutorials, articles
• Get a lot more involved on my fellow Alex Jeffreys Students Blogs by posting comments
• Link to great articles on other students blogs, and actively promote them
• Make sure I post on my blog every two days where possible
• Be more accountable by showing my traffic results as they improve (or not )
• Give detailed posts on exactly what I am doing to increase my traffic
• Visit the Alex Jeffreys course forum much more & again get more involved
• Get myself installed on Facebook, not done that yet! VideoTwitter yes….
• Start posting on AudioBoo, audio files are new to me, but are another good medium to use
• I’ve signed up for the Warrior Forum, but never posted (shame on you Rob)
• Video, i’ve only posted one tutorial video so far, wasn’t as difficult to do as you’d think, and is another good way of generating traffic from the likes of Youtube
• One plus point is a search for Robin Clapworthy brings me up top, so the brand is unque, just need to as my dad used to say “put myself about a bit”.

Well thats plenty to be getting on with, if you any other ideas on how to attract traffic, or think my ideas are rubbish, why not drop me  a comment or two?
