How I went from 64 Twitter Followers to over a thousand Followers in a few weeks

I’ve been tweeting for a relatively short amount of time, and with little effort ended up with an unimpressive 64 followers.

Well, I’ve been hearing more and more about Twitter and how along with Youtube, it’s going to be even bigger player than it is now in the internet marketing field.

So I decided it was a smart idea to look for the most effective ways to use Twitter as a marketing tool, step one being how to get more targeted followers.

After doing some investigation, I stumbled across a great product, Twitter Traffic Swarm by John Ritskowitz.

So I quickly worked through this course, and was eager to see my results, even by my own standards I was impressed by what happened, within a matter of a few weeks my Twitter follower count has grown from about sixty four to over a thousand (1364 at the time of writing this post). Best of all, these are targeted followers in the Internet Marketing niche.

In true Victor Kyam style, I liked the product so much I bought the company, well almost….

I’ve obtained the rights to sell this product to you, because I was so impressed with the information it teaches about harnessing the power of Twitter. This information simply isn’t available in any other course out there. If you want to know how to use Twitter to increase your sales, this is the course to get. Rest assured I only recommend products that I have tested and use myself. Period.

I am thrilled to anounce as a valued reader of robinclapwothy.com that if you purchase this course through my blog, you can buy Twitter Swarm Traffic for the unbelievable price of $27 (usually $67).

Best of all it comes with a full 60 day no quibble money back guarantee. You can’t lose.

To your Twitter success

Rob

    Hey Rob,

That’s some pretty impressive numbers you have there :-)

I have used Twitter Friend Adder in the past, but have not run this to increase my followers for a while now…I need to get back on it!

    Talk soon mate,

    Paul

  2. Hi Paul

I’m pleased with the rate that my Twitter Follers count is increasing, it’s not the be all and end all, but I think it gives you some credibility.

Personally, I abhor using automated tools to build followers to the point where I will not endorse any marketer who advocates their use in social media marketing.

If you want quality followers, here’s a novel concept: stop spamming, stop pushing your spam-enabling products, and start building relationships.

    • Hi Rob

Thanks for your comment, but I’m not sure what you’re getting at. The product I used to increase my Twitter Followers is not an automated system, I don’t use them?

The product I am promoting is one that I have used very successfully myself, and feel it’s fair game to promote it. It is in fact a series of video tutorials showing you how to use Twitter to get a following Why do you feel I’m spamming you? It’s common practice to post products that I have used to progress on-line, and write anout the success or failure on my blog.

Out of interest, were did you find my blog?

      All the best
      Rob

Thanks for the personal reply, Robin. I recognize we all have different ways of doing things and perhaps I’ve come across as caustic, but let me explain.

Here’s my stance–social media does indeed hold great marketing potential. For the first time since the rise of advertising can we reach out and interact with our consumers in real time. Sure, there have been direct mail methods and email marketing campaigns–both of which have been successful–but those have always been push (or “promotional”) marketing efforts.

By thinking in terms of “targeted leads” and how much you can earn from your audience, I submit that you’re undermining the very essence of the tools you’re using. Twitter asks, “What are you doing?” That doesn’t mean, “What are you selling?”

When you followed my account, I took a look at your profile–I try to personally reach out to every new follower I get (built 100% organically, mind you). I was greeted by a wealth of promotional content spun directly from WordPress, but no relational content. How are you amassing these thousands of followers? They’re certainly not staying for the conversation!

I recognize we all need to pay the bills. We drive traffic to our blogs, we display our banner ads, we sell our products and services, and some of us even install Comluv… But do we all engage? Would you have even bothered to respond if I were just another faceless commenter?

My argument is that entrepreneurs who are using social media tools for business should take care of each and every one of their followers, fans, subscribers, and friends. Sure, you can’t always touch every one of those people personally, but start up a conversation–you might even sell them a thing or two ;)

Like you write in your own blog, “Don’t buy a million addresses for $10.” Certainly don’t buy a thousand followers for $27. “The online world is turning the tide on spam. In the end, people will stop sending spam because it stops working.”

Ease up on the promotion, put some effort into relation. That’s how you maximize the potential of social media.

  4. Rob,

Fair enough, you make some valid points, but I only have one payed for product on my blog. the rest are given away absolutely free?

You’re right, I need to spend more time chatting on Twitter, and engaging my followers.

I’ll be keeping an eye on your blog, there’s some great content on there.

I must admit though, there you were telling how me how much you hated automated systems since they were inpersonal, I sent a reply to your email address on your blog, imagine my surprise when I got an automated email from you that clearly wasn’t personal.

    All the best
    Rob

  5. Nice to see that there are blog owners that care about their blogs and not post all kind of useless stuff but rather try to keep it clean and valuable for the sake of their subscribers. You’ve done a great job and i thank you for that and also for not traumatizing me with useless garbage and spam. You know, if you look for new ways to promote and improve you blog, i’ve open myself a corner of cyberspace and i would like to share it with you and your visitors, because it’s a good chance for anyone to learn how they can promote their websites and any online business if they have any for free or very low costs.I’m still getting it done and working on it as we speak, so it’s not as i wish but it’s a work in progress that already has value to it. If you care and wann help maybe you will link to it and why not let your friends know. It will get crazy this month cause i will give away alot of goodies.Visit:

  6. Online marketing is not just for the effective product, producing a website or for letting customers buy items ongoing. Online marketing can also include how a business proprietor can engage a work squad. The amount of people who are studying computers, web design, and learning to host websites proves just how successful online marketing can make the employer, the employees, and the independent contractors. And with a comfortable Internet savvy team, your business profits can increase too. :)

  7. That is pretty interesting. It presented me several ideas and I’ll be posting them on my web site soon. I’m bookmarking your site and I’ll be back. Thank you again!

  8. If you’re on Twitter you know what a important marketing tool it can be. But the essential thing to success is finding and keeping followers. Following a variety of fascinating people on Twitter can also bring you incredible visibility.

  9. Your blog is so informative … keep up the good work!!!!

  10. The main purpose of Twitter is to receive and send short bursts of content from other Twitter users. Many use it strictly to interact socially, but Twitter is also becoming a indispensable instrument for online marketing.
