Danger Will Robinson! What to do if you install a plugin & can’t login to your WordPress Blog

.

I’m using a plugin called “After the Deadline” which is a spelling and grammar checker (see previous post), I’ve just uploaded & installed the latest version .40, now my  blog doesn’t work, & I can’t even log into Admin on my blog! Yikes…

But all is not Lost In Space, as with all plugins on a WordPress Blog, you can get access (at least to delete it) to the After the Deadline plugin using an FTP program like Filezilla, and simply delete the After the deadline folder in the plugins folder of your blog, then you’ll be able to login to your admin screen.

The faulty plugin will be deactivated since it no longer exists. Simples.

UPDATE: I’ve emailed the plugin author about the bug and he’s fix the problem. Version 0.41

A relieved Rob

Check it out: http://www.wordpressrobot.com/5-steps-to-becoming-highly-infectious-on-twitter You can use unlimited Twitter accounts to tweet from and use proxy IP’s if you want. This will really deliver lots of visitors from Twitter to all your WordPress blogs. All fully on autopilot!

  13. I basically made the decision to just say screw the complexity of hanging around months and years for a reasonable following and used a twitter followers company to get me 1k followers. They in fact have all stuck around and I’ve gotten 40 retweets in the most recent few days, 40 more than I had ever experienced before. Joy. Really nevertheless there are a ton of these kinds of fellas to choose from, but I deemed them professional. Also you’ll find some absolutely free pieces of software and such in other places but I’m not much of a programmer so won’t be able to use them.
